Located within the Tam Giang – Cau Hai Lagoon System, Tam Giang Lagoon is renowned as the largest brackish water lagoon in Southeast Asia.
Just 12 km from Hue city, this stunning lagoon covers more than 52 km² and stretches about 24 km from west to east. It’s where three rivers — the Huong, Bo, and O Lau — meet before flowing into Thuan An Beach.
Tam Giang is loved for its peaceful fishing villages, the beauty of daily life on the water, and especially the mesmerizing sight of the sunset painting the lagoon gold.
